Crochet Pattern: Helix Earrings

These fun spiral earrings are worked from the outside in on a base of seed beads and have another row of seed beads running down the center. The pattern is fairly simple and good for those who want to branch out into beaded crochet. Skill Level:

Finished Size: 2″ (5 cm) tall, 1/2″ (1.5 cm) wide

Materials:
Size 10 thread (approximately 5 yards)
Crochet Hook E (3.5 mm)
Earwires
66 size 6 seed beads (33 for each earring)
crochet yarn size 0

Gauge:
Rows 1 – 3 in pattern measure 2″ (5 cm) tall and 1/2″ (1.5 cm) wide

Crochet Pattern: Helix Earrings
Row 1: string all beads, ch with bead 25 times, ch 1, sc between each bead: 24 sc
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc2tog across: 12 sc
Row 3: ch 1, turn, (sc with bead in next sc, sc2tog with bead) across: 8 sc
Finish off. Attach earwire to earring.
