Crochet Pattern: Pop-Out Flower

By Candace – 1 Comment
Flowers are fun and easy to crochet, and they can be used on almost anything. You can use this open-petal flower as an embellishment, or you can link up a bunch of them to make a fun garland or scarf. Try one on a plain bag, beanie, or hair clip, especially in contrasting colors and watch your project pop! crochet_pop-out_flower

Rachel, this is a really cute flower! I’m thinking – once you get it done as written, maybe pick up a thread again in the middle of the chain five and do another set of petals? I think you’d want to do it on the back, but experimenting is good! It would give a bit more dimension. You could even go a little bit longer on the back or short on the front. I haven’t tried it, I just looked at it and saw it with more petals. Good one!
