Have a nice, cool drink on this, and don’t worry about unsightly rings. These coasters are quick and easy to work up, and the spoked pattern is a good introduction to working around posts and increasing in the round. Crochet a bunch of these in different colors to create a set!

Crochet Pattern: Spoked Coaster
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring, sl st in first sc: 6 sc
Round 2: ch 2, (hdc, fphdc) in each sc around, sl st in first hdc: 12 sc
Round 3: ch 2, (2 hdc in next hdc, fphdc in next hdc) around, sl st in first hdc: 18 sc
Round 4: ch 2, (hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, fphdc in next hdc) around, sl st in first hdc: 24 hdc
Round 5: ch 2, (2 hdc in next hdc, hdc in next hdc, 2 hdc in next hdc, fphdc in next hdc) around, sl st in first hdc: 36 hdc
Finish off.
