Crochet Pattern: Swirl Pendant

Swirly pendants in bright colors are fun yet simple accessories. You can accent them with beads or string them on a cord on their own. In a tighter gauge, they also make interesting buttons. The pattern is worked from inside out in the back loop then turned and worked from the outside in in the front loop. crochet_swirl_pendant

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 1 1/4″ (3 cm) diameter

Materials:
Fine Weight Yarn (approximately 25 yards)
Crochet Hook G (4.00 mm)
Jump Ring
crochet yarn size 2

Gauge:
Rounds 1 – 4 in pattern measure 1 1/4″ (3 cm) in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Swirl Pendant
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, 6 sc in ring: 6 sc
Round 2: working in back loops only, 2 sc in of each sc around: 12 sc
Round 3: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around: 18 sc
Row 4: ch 2, turn, working in front loops omitted throughout pattern, hdc in each sc in spiral: 36 hdc
Finish off.

Attach jump ring and string onto a necklace.
