Try something a little different with these dome-shaped thread earrings. You can choose how pronounced the shape is during blocking– choose a more subtle, shallow dome or a deep, dramatic dome to suit your style. Remember to use your stiffener of choice to hold whichever shape you choose. crochet_talia_earrings

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 1″ (2.5 cm) diameter

Materials:
Size 10 thread (approximately 10 yards)
Crochet Hook C (2.75 mm)
Earwires
crochet yarn size 0

Gauge:
Rounds 1 – 5 in pattern measure 1″ (2.5 cm) in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Talia Earrings
Round 1: make adjustable ring, ch 1, (2 sc, ch 1) 2 times in ring, sl st in first sc: 6 sts
Round 2: ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st around, sl st in first sc: 12 sc
Round 3: ch 1, turn, *(2sc in next sc, sc in next sc) 2 times, 2 sc in next sc, ch 1, skip 1 sc, repeat from * 1 more time, sl st in first sc: 18 sts
Round 4-5: ch 1, turn, sc in each sc around, sl st in first sc: 18 sc
Finish off and block. Attach to earwires.
