Crochet Pattern: Santa Claus Hat (Barbie Doll Size)

HoHoHo! Now your dolls can dress up as Santa and celebrate Christmas with this Barbie/Ken doll sized hat. This is a super tiny version of my original Santa Claus Hat Crochet Pattern, which comes in 5 different sizes, ranging from baby to adult.

Skill Level: crochet skill level easy

Finished Size: 2 3/4″ (7 cm) tall, 2″ (5 cm) wide when flat

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (small amount of red and white)
Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm)
Yarn needle
crochet yarn size 4
crochet santa hat

Crochet Pattern: Santa Claus Hat
Round 1: with red, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook, place marker: 4 sc
Round 2: sc in each sc around: 4 sc
Round 3: 2 sc in each sc around: 8 sc
Round 4: sc in each sc around: 8 sc
Round 5: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around: 12 sc
Round 6: sc in each sc around: 12 sc
Round 7: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc) around: 16 sc
Round 8 – 9: sc in each sc around: 16 sc
Round 10: sc in each sc around, changing to white in last sc made: 16 sc
Round 11: sc in each sc around, finish off: 16 sc

Pom Pom
Round 1: with white, ch 2, 4 sc in second ch from hook, place marker: 4 sc
Round 2: decrease 2 times, finish off: 2 sc

Using photo as a guide, sew pom pom to top of hat with a yarn needle.

    I dont understand exactly what it is sayin.

      With your red yarn, you’re going to chain 2. Then make 4 single crochets in the second chain from your hook. The second chain from hook is also the first chain that you made. When you’re done, you’re going to place a stitch marker onto the loop that is on your hook. The marker markers the end of the round and will help you see where the next round will end.
