Crochet Pattern: Circles Necklace

Here is a quick and simple mixed media necklaces that uses crochet circles and a metal chain. The circles are crocheted seamlessly in the round. They are easy to crochet, a beginner can do it! The necklace is then assembled using jump rings and any chain of your choice. Feel free to mix up the color of the circles and the lengths of the chains to create your own unique necklace.

Skill Level:

Finished Size:
Each circle pendant measures 1 1/4″ (3 cm) in diameter
Finished necklace measures 21″ (53.5 cm) circumference
Note: Finished necklace can be customized to be any size desired by altering the length of the chains. The pendants can also be customized by using a different yarn weight and/or crochet hook size to create a different size.

Materials:
Light Weight Yarn (approximately 6 yards)
Crochet hook G (4.00 mm)
crochet yarn size 3

8 jump rings
1 clasp
2 chains 1″ long
2 chains 7″ long
Pliers

Gauge:
Rounds 1 – 3 in pattern measure 1 1/4″ in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Circle (make 3)
Round 1: ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook, place marker: 6 sc
Round 2: 2 sc in each sc around: 12 sc
Round 3: (2 sc in next sc, sc in next sc) around, sl st first sc, finish off: 18 sc

Assembly
With pliers and jump rings, attached 1″ long chains to join the circles using photo as a guide. Attach the 7″ long chains to each end of the end circles. Attach clasp to join the 7″ long chains.

    I like your patterns very much and also this new pattern of a crochet necklace is a really good idea.

    Also I can imagine, that based upon this style there are so many possibilities to take this creation as a basis for various future interesting styles.
