Been a while since I was on here, since my internet has been really screwy lately :K

Anyway, loving all the stuff you’ve been doing! I’m gonna have to see if I can get some patterns from your store ๐Ÿ˜€

I love your new design!! It looks like it would be flattering for any size. I was wondering if you could tell me what size yarn you used for this? Unfortunately, it’s very difficult for me to work with thread, so it is always helpful to me when a designer lets you know what size yarn/thread they used. That way I know whether to purchase the pattern or not.
I really admire you for all you’ve accomplished so far….your tutorials, patterns, setting up your own store, etc. I believe your tutorials & hints are the best for beginners…and your patterns are great for everyone. I’m looking forward to being a premium member of your store.

I used medium weight yarn (also known as worsted weight).

I just downloaded this pattern (ok, well… all the patterns. I’m a pattern collector..) and looked through it. And I just wanted to say thank you for being specific on the edging part where we start to work in rounds. Saying that there should be 2 sc per row of dc on the edges is PERFECT. I never knew how many should be on the edges when working up the sides of a work.

How much of the worsted weight yarn do I need for this project?

    • Rachel says:

Hi Pavi, I used about 700 yards to make the shrug in the photo, which fits a small to medium size person. You may need a bit more or less depending on if you adjust the size.

I am finally making this shrug! It is turning out beautifully. I love the simplicity of this design.
For the sleeves, have you tried adding a shell edging? How do you think it will be?
