Are you ready to try out lace? How about lace in the round? Never fear. Once you get the hang of this simple floral pattern, you’ll be ready to tackle bigger projects.
As for this one: use it to decorate, link a bunch together to make a cool belt or bag, or adorn another project with it.


Skill Level:

Finished Size: 3 1/4″ (8.5 cm) diameter

Fine Weight Yarn (approximately 10 yards)
Crochet Hook G (4.25 mm)
crochet yarn size 2

Rounds 1 – 5 in pattern measure 3 1/4″ (8.5 cm) in diameter

Crochet Pattern: Lace Flower
Round 1: ch 6, sl st in first ch made, ch 1, 3 sc in each ch around, sl st in first sc: 15 sc
Round 2: ch 3, (dc in next 3 sc, ch 1) around, sl st in first dc: 20 sts
Round 3: ch 2 (hdc in next dc, 2 hdc in next dc, hdc in next dc, ch 2) around, sl st in first hdc: 30 sts
Round 4: ch 3, (dc2tog 2 times, ch 7) around, sl st in first dc: 45 sts
Round 5: ch 1, (sc in next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts) around, sl st in first sc: 50 sc
Finish off.
