Sometimes you just want to feel like royalty. For those who are monarchs in their own minds, here’s something to help you look the part. This can be worn on the head as a hair accessory, used for a doll, turned into a present topper, or anything you could think of doing with such a small crown.

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 9″ (23 cm) circumference, 2 1/2″ (6.5 cm) tall

Light Weight Yarn (approximately 25 yards)
Crochet Hook H (5.0 mm)

10 dc = 3″ (7.5 cm)
3 rows = 1 1/2″ (4 cm)

      Hi Angie!
You may or may not know, that in Birmingham, England where I live, we have the Olympics 2012 taking place in London, Her Majesty, Elizabeth Regina II celebrates 60 years on the throne of England and as we are celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee, the idea of adapting this pattern for myself and making a crown-bandeau to wear to one of my evening engagements – worked in pearls and cream, using cotton….if I can I will send you a photo!
      Again thank you very much!!

Round four says to chain four and join in the top of beginning chain three. Is it meant to be three or four chains? I’m going to make a few of these to help raise money for my church.
