Crochet Pattern: Teddy Bear Scrap Scarf

Crochet this mini sized scarf for your teddy bear or doll. This scarf was designed for a 16″ teddy bear but can be adjusted to fit other doll sizes or even a child or adult. Just use the instructions in the pattern to change the size. As the name implies, this scarf is made with scraps of yarn. So if you have small scraps of yarn left over from other crochet projects, here’s your time to use them up! It doesn’t matter how much of each color you have and it doesn’t matter if the colors even match. Just start crocheting with one color and change to a new color once you run out. Finished Size: 2 3/4″ (7 cm) wide, 30″ (76 cm) long
Note: scarf can be adjusted to be as wide or long as you desire, by using the instructions within the pattern.

Materials:
Medium Weight Yarn (small scraps of each color)
Crochet Hook I (5.50 mm)
crochet yarn size 4

Gauge: not important for this pattern. Use the instructions within the pattern to adjust the size as you see fit.

Crochet Pattern: Scarf
Note: change colors anywhere in pattern. When you run out of one color, just change to another.
Start by chaining 10 or a chain that is as wide as you want your scarf.
Row 1: ch 2, dc in third ch from hook and in each ch across: 10 dc
Row 2: ch 1, turn, sc in each dc across: 10 sc
Row 3: ch 2, turn, dc in each sc across: 10 dc

Repeat rows 2 – 3, until the scarf is as long as you desire. Then finish off and weave in loose ends.
