Free Crochet Pattern: Little Fluffy Sheep

By Rachel Choi – 5 Comments

Inspired by my recent trip to Ireland, here is a sheep to crochet! Cute, little, and fluffy, crochet it for yourself, as a toy for a child, or crochet several and make it into a baby mobile. The body of the sheep is crocheted in one piece, then the ears, tail and legs are sewn on. Check out the loop stitch tutorial if you don’t already know this fun, textured stitch.

Special Stitches
Lsc (loop single crochet) – please see the loop stitch tutorial. The loops in this pattern are about 3/4″ long loops.
Lsc2tog (loop single crochet 2 together) – working a loop single crochet stitch, pull up a loop into the next 2 stitches, yarn over, then pull through all loops on hook, counts as 1 lsc.
