Free Crochet Pattern: Doggy Door Bells

Posted in Free Crochet Patterns on January 3rd, 2018 by Rachel Choi – 5 Comments

Crochet you’re own doggy door bells for the savvy dogs that are taught to ring bells to go outside. This strand of bells is designed to be as long as you need it to be. Make is short for the tall dogs, or longer if you have short dogs. My dogs are Lab and Shepard mixes, so if your dogs are shorter you may want to add more bells to make it longer. You’ll want your dog’s nose to be able to touch the bells. This pattern is also designed with a strap closure so that it can fit over all door knob and handle sizes.

Pick 2 strands of different colored yarn for a more colorful look. Choose 100% cotton or wool yarn, which work well with heat compared to other materials such as acrylic.
