There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Are you ready for football season? If you’re a football fan or know someone who is, crochet this fun football hat to wear while watching the game. The hat is crocheted in the round from the top down. Then the laces are crocheted separately and sewn onto the hat. The pattern provides 5 different sizes: baby, toddler, child, adult, and large adult. The hat in the sample photo is the adult size.

Crochet Pattern: Lover’s Knot Convertible Shrug

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This is a shrug pattern that uses the popular lover’s knot stitch to make a light and lacy fabric. Don’t let the lightness of the fabric fool you though, the shrug is still fairly warm to wear. The shrug can be warn as a cover up when you’re cold but then converted to a scarf if desired. The shrug is crocheted from sleeve to sleeve, all in one piece, with no sewing required! The pattern is design so that it can be made for any size from small children to large adults.

Crochet Pattern: Christmas Light Garland

Crochet this fun garland of Christmas lights to wrap around your Christmas tree or hang it along a window or fireplace mantel with the Christmas stockings. There’s nothing like cute lights that don’t need electricity! Each bulb is crocheted separately and then crocheted together to form a “wire” of lights. A step-by-step photo tutorial is included for assembling the lights together. Feel free to make as many light bulbs as you want to make the garland as long or sort as desired.

Crochet Pattern: Pacifier Holder with Animals

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Pacifier holders are great if you’re always loosing your pacifiers. The end of the pacifier holder that is appliqued with an animal is clipped to the baby’s clothing while the other end dangles with a pacifier. These holders can also be used for small toys, not just pacifiers! Pacifiers and toys can easily be removed from the holder so that they can be washed. The pattern includes the pacifier holder pattern that you can crochet in an assortment of colors, and the 5 animal appliques: bear, dog, cat, lion and pig.

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Use this pattern to crochet a classic netted hair snood. A snood is a great hair accessory when you’re having a bad hair day, or just want an easy way to gather your hair. Just tuck your hair in and go about your day! The snood is also fairly warm to wear in cooler weathers. One size will fit most adults. This pattern uses elastic at the edge of the snood to keep it snug on your head. The elastic can be adjusted if needed to make it tighter or looser to fit your head. Feel free to crochet a bunch of snoods in your favorite colors.

Crochet Pattern: Openwork Shell Skirt

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This pattern is for a skirt that is highly adjustable. The instructions will tell you how to crochet the skirt so that it fits your size. You can also adjust the length of the skirt to make it as short or long as you’d like. Although the photo shows the skirt on an adult, you’re more than welcome to crochet the skirt for children as well. The stitch pattern is open and lacy so that you can wear a plain skirt of a contrasting color under it. You can also wear the crocheted skirt with leggings.

Crochet Pattern: Classic Pillow Cover

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Crochet this pillow cover to cover up any rectangle or square pillow, no matter it’s size. The pattern will instruction you on how to adjust the cover to your pillow’s size. The cover has one open end that is fastened closed with small buttons. The buttons are designed to be on the inside of the pillow so they’re hidden and the cover appears seamless. The cover can be removed from the pillow at anytime, making it easily washable. Feel free to add your own applique or design onto the front of the cover.

The lightness makes the cowl great to wear in both warm and cool weather. The pattern starts at the very bottom of the cowl and gets it’s triangle shape as you work up, making the size easily adjustable if you wish to alter it. The pattern also includes a step-by-step photo tutorial for adding the fringe, just in case you’ve never created fringe before.
