There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! After numerous requests, here is a beanie set that uses super bulky weight yarn! These beanies are extra thick to ensure warmth during the cold winter weather. The super bulky yarn combined with a large crochet hook also makes the hats fairly quick to crochet. Don’t forget that this pattern contains 6 sizes from babies to adults.

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This security blanket can be crocheted for boys and girls. The teddy bear is a cute little friend that a child can tote around and cuddle with. The pattern requires a light weight yarn so that it isn’t too heavy for a child. It is crocheted in the round like a spiral so that there are no seams in the blanket or the bear. Feel free to crochet it using your child’s favorite color!

Crochet Pattern: Double Layer Lace Bag

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This purse pattern is crocheted using 2 layers. The outside layer is a lacy pattern that is made with join-as-you-go motifs and simple shell and v-stitch patterns. The inside layer is solid and crocheted with a contrasting color. The pattern uses multiple techniques to limit the amount of sewing required. Sewing the handle onto the bag is the only sewing required! The handle can be adjusted to be as long or short as desired.

Crochet Pattern: Flower Wrist Pin Cushion

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This pattern is for a cute and fun pin cushion that has a wrist band. The pin cushion can be worn on your wrist while you work or sew so that your pins are easily accessible. The adjustable wrist band is secured with a button on the underside, but you can use snaps or Velcro as an alternative if desired. The center of the flower is used as the pin cushion, which is nice and thick to hold many pins.

Crochet Pattern: Flower Pillow Cover

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Crochet this pillow cover to cover up a 16″ square pillow. You can use it to cover an old pillow that needs a new look, or a plain white pillow. The cover has one open end that is fastened closed with 6 small buttons. The buttons are designed to be on the inside of the pillow so they’re hidden and the cover appears seamless. The cover can be removed from the pillow at anytime, making it easily washable. The large flower is crocheted all in one solid piece, and then sew to the pillow cover.

Crochet Pattern: Lover’s Knot Wrap

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! This pattern is for a lacy and light weight wrap that drapes very nicely. Wear it as a shawl to keep yourself warm or to give yourself more coverage. The wrap can also be worn as a thick scarf. The pattern uses primarily knot stitches to create the body of the wrap. The edging has fun round shaped pieces that dangle. Feel free to adjust the size of the wrap to make it as large or small as you desire by using the instructions within the pattern.

Crochet Pattern: Flip Flop Coasters

There’s a new pattern in the Crochet Spot Store! Crochet these cute and fun flip flop coasters to use with martini, wine, champagne, or any other footed glasses. The bottom of the glass fits snugly into the flip flop straps, attaching the coaster to the bottom of the glass. These coasters can also be used as glass markers if you crochet a set in a variety of colors. Feel free to customize the flip flops with small appliques or embroidery. Crochet a set of these coasters for a party, or just to have a set around the house. The flip flop coasters are great for spring and summer time fun!

Due to recent requests, this pattern uses light weight yarn instead of the traditional medium weight yarn. The light weight yarn will create a lighter beanie that is great for warmer weather during the spring or fall. The pattern uses primarily double crochet stitches, making each hat fairly quick to crochet.
