Crochet Pattern: Branch Pendant

Here is a project for crocheters who want to branch out a little. Hang it from your neck at your preferred angle for showing off or make two for your ears. If you need your final project to be stiffer, block it with starch. You can also use this branch pendant as a applique if you prefer. Have fun and get creative with it!

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 2 1/4″ (5.5 cm) long, 1 1/2″ (4 cm) wide

Materials:
Size 10 Crochet Thread (approximately 20 yards)
Crochet Hook B (2.25 mm)
Jump Ring

Crochet Pattern: Branch Pendant
Row 1: ch 5, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, turn: 2 dc
Row 2: ch 3, dc in each dc across, turn: 2 dc
Row 3: ch 3, dc in each dc across, ch 5, turn: 2 dc
Row 4: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st across, turn: 6 sc
Row 5: ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, turn: 2 sc
Row 6: ch 1, sc in each sc across, ch 8, turn: 2 sc
Row 7: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across, ch 7, turn: 9 sc
Row 8: sc in 2nd ch from hook, and in next 5 ch, sc in next 2 sc, turn: 8 sc
Row 9: ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, turn: 2 sc
Row 10: ch 1, sc in each sc across, ch 6: 2 sc
Row 11: sc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across, ch 4: 7 sc
Row 12: sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 2 ch, sl st in next sc: 3 sc
Finish off.
