I get easily distracted, especially when it comes to crocheting. This pattern came to me in 30 minutes which just happens to be the length of time for my evening news broadcast. I used brown yarn because it was closest at hand and I had this wonderful wooden button just hanging out in the pocket of my hoodie. Buttons tend to hang out in my pockets a lot! Enjoy!

    Perfect! You can really match your outfits. And if you have Grandma’s button box like I do, there are a lot of old style buttons to use. You can even use variegated or different yarns for multicolored bracelets. And since you can make it to size, it won’t slide off or get in your way like bangle bracelets. The button would make a perfect decoration at the top of your wrist.

    Cute pattern. I love how you say buttons hang out in your pockets often, for me it’s stray scraps of yarn I leave behind after making flowers for my shop. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    I write them line by line actually, not really sure how else to do it. Any suggestions by anyone else?

    Hi I made a few of these and one my son wears is army pattern and the other I haven’t worn yet but his has started to curl up on the sides is there anything I can do to prevent that from hapening ?

    @Stephanie
    Blocking will help with this. Just like a doily has to be blocked and then re-blocked after a time.
    Hope that helps!

    @Kathy
    Sizing can be done by using a measuring tape to get their wrist size or by using a marked piece of yarn. Also standard wrist sizes can be found online.

  14. LJ says:

    @Stephanie: in addition to blocking you can try a sc border around the bracelet. Then it’ll be longer between reblocking

    Hello! I see this post is a little old, but I was searching around for crochet bracelet patterns and was wondering if I could sell the bracelets I make from this?

    I’ll be helping with a fundraiser this September (2013) and was wondering if I could sell these? It’s for Cornerstone Autism Center here in town. The proceeds will go to them.

    Please let me know either here or via email. [email protected]

    Thank you!
