Who doesn’t love to crochet coasters?! All crochet enthusiasts and the people who love them have several coasters that were made as first-time patterns, holiday gifts, and leftover yarn creations. Here I present to you an easy, but fun pattern I created to use as a coaster. It is cute and it looks like a wheel, which gives it a different flavor from our usual coaster patterns. Enjoy!

I enjoy making coasters and you have some lovely patterns. I have a question for all of you: Do you ever find the coasters get damp and let moisture get on your table? A friend of mine says that I should make my coasters (I felt them after crocheting) with two layers and with some impervious material between them. Or to attach cork backings, etc. Does anyone have experience or advice on this topic?

hi, i love this site i am getting so many patterns done. but the reason i’m here is because i just finished the wheel coaster. I know it calls just 3 rounds and i didn’t think that it was quite big enough so i mad an extra round. so what i did was ch 3, 1 dc in ea dc around, (the ch3 counts as 1 dc) Fasten off. and weave in ends. then all done. thanks for all the free patterns love them all. sharon from illinois
