Have you crocheted something you’re proud of using a Crochet Spot pattern? We want to see it! If you’d like to share your work with the Crochet Spot team and other Crochet Spot readers, feel free to submit your photos to be included in the Photo Roundup. Once enough photos are received, they’ll be placed in a post on Crochet Spot for all to see.

To submit your pictures:

  • Email photos to Rachel at [email protected]
  • Let me know which pattern you used.
  • Indicate that you would like your photos in the roundup! (I get a lot of email and photos, but don’t want to publish photos without permission)

I’m really excited to see your work!!

Rachel, i am looking for instructions to do a Wagon Wheel stitch. I am trying to do a crochet sampler afghan . This pattern calls for a (3-hdc Puff stitch ). Can you help me please? Also I need a pattern for a solid color granny square with 8 rounds. Thank you.

    • Rachel says:

Hi Mary, I haven’t heard of the wagon wheel stitch but I’ll keep you in mind if I come across it.
Here’s a link to the granny square pattern: How to Crochet a Granny Square
You can make the granny square as many rounds as you like, and you don’t have to change colors each round if you want a solid color.

Thank you Rachel, this sounds wonderful. I am working on your little Christmas Tree with the ruffled tiers. I’ve been looking for a cute small & crocheted tree patterns and found yours. Perfect. I would like to submit picture. May I include a couple other small trees I’ve made?

Didn’t get a chance to use any of the stitches you’ve posted. But did make 4 afghans. The light blue and royal blue is made diffrent. I made two seperate afghans, then stitched them together turnned them inside out, stitched up the seam, then made little ties like you used to see on old ticking or old quilts. The others are made using two strands each. The blue and green one took 12 skiens. The others took 10. All done in half double crochet. Took just under 2 months to make all 4 of them. You have permission to print them. Will send you the e-mail with all 4 afghans. Thanks much. Charlie
