Free Crochet Pattern: Mindspace Mandala

By Claire Golden – 4 Comments

I love making mandalas because of their repetitive and calming nature. After acquiring a ball of lovely gray yarn, I thought it would make a pretty mandala, and this is the finished design. Although I chose to make it all in one color, mandalas are an excellent way to experiment with color changing. I’d love to see how this design looks in multiple colors. Or you could make it with crochet thread and a small hook to make a doily.

How beautiful! Thank you so much for this lovely design! I have recently taken a liking to grey, which I never noticed or used much before. Interesting choice for your colour for this, and I imagine it will suit anywhere.

Hello, I am absolutely stuck on R13. How many loops are ultimately left on the hook when pulling the last loop through before the ch 10?

I have thoroughly enjoyed this! It has been the most complex project I’ve ever attempted and I am very happy with what I’ve been able to accomplish so far. If I can’t figure it out at least what I have done looks great . Thank you for this pattern.

      Hello again,
I did it!! Right after I send the email I went back and tried again. As soon as I understood the ch 4 was part of the first cluster and that the next two repeats were in the ch sp before the bubble, it all clicked and I was able to finish. Thank you!!
