Crochet Pattern: Chair Cushion
By Rachel – 11 Comments| This chair cushion crochet pattern is free for all to crochet! To make your chair cushion you will need to work each of the small squares separately. The squares are then stuffed and sewn together. You can make the cushion as firm or soft as you desire. Best of all, you can adjust the size of the cushion by adding more or less rows of squares as you see fit. Prior experience sewing crochet pieces together is a plus. |  |

Finished Size: 15″ (38 cm) square

Materials: Medium Weight Yarn (approximately 350 yards) Crochet Hook G (4.00 mm) Polyester fiberfill Yarn needle Stitch marker |

Gauge:
13 sc = 3’’
8 rows = 2’’
Gauge Swatch: 3’’w x 2’’h (7.5 cm x 5 cm) ch 14.
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across: 13 sc
Row 2 – 8: ch 1, turn, sc in each sc across: 13 sc
Finish off.
Crochet Pattern: Cushion Square (make 25)
Note: you can increase or decrease the size of your cushion by adding or subtracting the number of squares you make.
Round 1: ch 16, sc in second ch from hook and in each each ch across, turn to work into remaining loops on opposite side of ch, sc in each ch across, place marker: 30 sc
Round 2 – 15: sc in each sc around: 30 sc
Finish off, leaving a long end for sewing. Fill square with fiberfill until it is the firmness that you desire. Then sew the opening of the square shut using a yarn needle.
Using photo as a guide, sew the 25 squares together.
Strap (make 2)
Row 1: ch 50, finish off: 50 ch
Using photo as a guide, sew the center of the strap to the corner of the cushion. Use the straps to securely tie the cushion to a chair.
