For the next round of the challenge, we are sweetening the prize pot by adding a copy of the Knitter’s Book of Yarn by Clara Parkes. If you want to understand yarn, how it is constructed, how it behaves, and how to best use it, Knitter’s Book of Yarn is exactly what you want! The book has been a popular favorite and valued reference book since its release in 2007. This is a prize worth having, folks! More prizes may be added as we go along. We’ll see…

The next prize drawing will take place on June 30! There are two ways to enter!

1) Email your crochet before and/or after pics to [email protected]

OR

2) Complete the entry form by following this link.

Don’t forget: Your WIPs can be anything you’re working on or finished! They don’t have to be projects that you haven’t touched for months. You can enter any crochet WIP that you finish or frog into the contest.

To give you a little inspiration, here are my UFO yarnbacks and one shining finished object! I certainly could not enter the contest, but I wanted you to know that I was playing along with all of you!!

Hello and Thank You! I was surprised, and very flattered even though it is random 😉 Sadly that yarn did not make it to its destination. It was bought for a granny shrug, and the yarn didn’t hold the shape well enough for me so out it came. Don’t you just LOOOVE starting over? I love the blog, thanks for the free pattern. It will be on my hook come summer. I love it. I always follow and share.

Working on popcorn stitch bed pillow. Wanted chenille so thought this would be a good “substitute”. Popcorn stitch a little rough on arthritic fingers so one side will be sc and dc instead, but this way it will be much more comfortable for use anyway.

I am working on 4 dresses for little girls in my church and a paid project of 2 more dresses. I had 7 dresses to make for the little girls in my church. I have completed 3, 1 WIP, 1 that I have decided to frog and start over using a different pattern. My paid project was to make 2 more dresses for another customer, I have completed 1 and had to frog the ruffle trim on the second dress because the directions do not make sense, so I have made up my own ruffle trim that looks better.
